    Only had these for 4 days and they do fit well based on the sizes I ordered. In the picture on your web page, they appeared to be more oil skinned than when I actually received them. Having said that they keep my dogs warm at night as it gets doing to 6 degrees up here. No rain as yet to see how they perform in the wet. Value for money is good.

    Amazing, robust and great fitting dog rug. If I could give it 10 stars I would as my Bluey thought the rug was not for her and set about trying to wreck it. Luckily chewing was not a preferred option. However she has rubbed, scraped, rolled etc and the rug stays on her perfectly. Well worthwhile purchase for the human, dog’s dury is still out however she is warming to the idea of it especially this winter down south. Great rug, great price, THANKYOU NEWMARKET SADDLERY.

    I ordered this oilskin coat but they didn’t have it and they sent me instead a top dog 1200 denier 180g fill rug. It’s perfect in every way and half the price of anything vaguely comparable you can buy out there. It’s actually dog shaped so it actually fits my dog (what a novelty) , it’s thick and warm and best of all it’s fitted with serious Velcro that’s not going to come off no matter what he gets up to during the night. Plus , in this smart navy blue outfit, my boy looks almost as handsome as he does naked!!

    I (a dalmatian, labrador, kelpy cross) had one of these marvelous coats for a few years, but recently I wandered away on a walk (at night time) and returned back to my master without (I don’t know how it came off, really! You would need to be a contortionist to get it off without help as it has 2 straps). So my master was kind enough to buy me another, it makes me look like a small well-dressed horse in some ways but it’s great for cold, windy wet days and I can still run through puddles and get in a mess, but don’t need a full bath when I get home.

    Love these dog coats. I recommend sizing down though. I bought 2x 60cm coats for my lanky kelpies and they were massive. Luckily I gave them to family/friends who had a Golden Retriever and a Pitbull X Ridgeback. I reordered the 50cm coats and they are the perfect fit!     I bought two Newmarket Oilskin Dog Rugs for my labradors at $19.95 each. Even at the usual price of $39.95, this represents outstanding value for money. I’ve researched many coats and rugs for labradors and it is extremely difficult to find a rug that can be put on easily and quickly, worn inside and outside, and is easily adjustable should your dog gain or lose a little weight. These Oilskin rugs meet all my needs and look great too. The fleecy lining is of high quality and the waterproof exterior is great if you have a dog that wanders inside and outside all day. I can’t speak highly enough of the product. Delivery was fast and hassle free. I have only great things to say about this product and would recommend highly.

    Okay.. maybe originally this dog mum may have wanted Avengers onesie pyjamas for her Boxer to look *super cute* in.. lucky we have a true blue Aussie dad in the house to advise me of the error in my ways.
    The coat overall is built sturdy and strong, will last my dog his entire lifetime with quality stiching and materials. It is practical for city or country use and can endure a decent downpour keeping dogs dry and warm.
    Doesnt make my dog look Un-manly, actually makes him look like he can handle himself from intruders – Unlike hiding behind his masters legs if they get into a strife if wearing a onesie.
    Truly a coat a dog dad would be comfortable walking their dog down the street in but at the same time dapper enough for their mum to dote on (includes treat pockets!!).

    The Oilskin dog coat fits really well. We have a Kelpie x Whippet and sometimes coats seem to be to wide across the chest, however with this coat there is sufficient flexibility to make it a snug fit.

    I have 3 dogs and purchased 3 x oil skin dog coats. They are water proof, fleece lined, keeps them warm and well made. I think they will get many years wear out of these and at a much more affordable price than the Driza Bone dog coats @ $119.00 each.

    The oil skin rugs are definitely what I was after – they are warm, waterproof and a great fit! They fit my fine boned whippet, to my chunky beagle! I would definitely recommended these rugs and I would not steer toward anything else.
