I contacted Newmarket before purchasing this bridle as I have bought it from a different retailer previously and the colour was not as pictured (cream browband pictured was red). Newmarket advised that the leather was very dark brown, not oak, with a cream browband. Exactly what I was hoping for! The bridle arrived exactly as described. Very happy.
