    It’s good quality, the only issue is 4’6 and below has some fitment issues. The neck was to small for a welsh pony and the drop is way to long, it’s about the same length as the 6’0 & 7’0

    i really like the quality and fit of the oxford rugs. i bought one at the start of winter as an under rug- it was soft and warm and fitted perfectly- so i bought another for her and one for her stable mate. they fit both horses beautifully. i like that they are not short in the belly so the horses never look like they are in a mini skirt. i was so impressed with the oxford deluxe that i thought i would try the mesh insert for the summer.- i bought two and they fit both horses perfectly- they are definitely cooler than the deluxe,- i do wish that they came with a tail bag but otherwise perfect.

    We buy these rugs every couple of seasons. Stand up well in all weather, perfect for summer showers as it’s way too humid for synthetic rugs. Three way chest strap allows for handy adjustment. Some years the rugs are a slightly smaller fit. Fantastic value for $50.

    The Oxford Soft Mesh Insert Cotton Combo is one of the best summer rugs I have ever bought. Not only is the fit exactly right for your horse but also being cotton it allows the horse’s skin to breath without sweating up underneath. I bought one for my new horse recently, but after a week I ordered another one for my other horse. These rugs are value for money and quality.

    Really love these rugs. They allow plenty of airflow, have the 3 way adjustment to fit a variety of different types of horses, the fittings are excellent quality, and there is a percentage of cotton in the fabric. All this for such a great price, these are my go to summer rug!

    This rug was on my horse for a total of 6 days. Some how the mesh ripped, and is not repairable I personally think the mesh netting is to fine. Other than this fault it is a great rug.

    This is my first rug purchase from Newmarket and I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and fit. For the price I was actually expecting a really thin cotton and just an all round cheap rug. I was really impressed with the quality of cotton and mesh, The fit was fantastic and pretty much true to size.
    Speedy delivery also a plus.

    I am very pleased with the quality of these rugs, good fittings, good length, sizing seems similar to other rugs. Fit my 2 horses well (thoroughbred & warmblood). I am particularly pleased with the fit of my 16hh warmblood as she is heavier and the 6’3″ is roomy and fits really well.

    A great combo where the neck is actually long enough & the top fixing actually does up so it doesn’t slip! The drop could be longer as I found it shorter than the oxford 7′ rugs. Love the 3 way front fixing especially as the combo necks are smaller than the rug necks.

    Love this rug. I only gave it a 4 star because I think they are just a little on the small side. My 5’9″ boy needed a 6′ for that little bit extra length. The general fit and quality however are fabulous. REALLY GOOD VALUE.

    All the rugs/combos are great value from Newmarket, the only thing I can say is the cotton they use on the rugs/combos – its like t-shirt stuff not heavy duty, I always have mined re-sewn around the outside as seems to help and make them last longer,
    I really love the “3 way” system on the front of rug/combos which makes for a better fit, and love the quick postage

    I recently bought 2 of these rugs and have been using the 6ft 6in on one of my horses. The fit is great and the 3 position chest strap is a bonus. Also very sturdy and reinforced so won’t tear away as in some cheap rugs. I like the blue coloured mesh as it has a smart appearance as well as providing good ventilation. The price was exceptional too! Very happy with my purchase and I’m sure the 2nd rug (a 6ft 3 ) will fit the other horse just as well.

    Also need to mention the terrific service – good communication on expected delivery timeframe and very speedy arrival !

    I really like the fit of this rug, particularly the neck length on the combo for a big horse when they are eating it doesnt end up half way up their neck. Love the 3 way chest strap fittings too.

    Sits well on both my horses. Love the chest height adjustments ,stops the rubbing that occurs often with other rugs. Think the sticking around the leg straps needs to be heavy duty cotton as that was the only weak point on this rug on my heavier set horse. Have bought them two seasons in a row now.
