Terrific, lightweight rug to keep the insects off. My mare does not sweat at all in this – unlike cotton rugs.
Runs on the small side, bought 5.9 and worn on the last hole on neck and still a bit tight – go up a size to be safe.

Great value for money! My scratchy horse has been wearing his new mesh for a week. It’s holding out impressively. The last rug was destroyed bit by bit, by paddock mates & scratching himself on trees and fencing. I know the fate of this rug will be similar, but at the price I paid, it’s a worthy sacrifice! Should have bought two!!

I don’t like putting my horses in cotton or heavy mesh when the weather starts heating up – but these are the perfect weight – so light & airy! Keeps my horses clean & cool + keeps the bugs off. Exactly what i’m after. I have 3 horses with very different shapes & they fit all 3 very well. No complaints here, great rugs, especially for the price!

From a value for money perspective, this has to rate pretty high. Whilst not a world beater, it does the job of providing insect and fly cover for those hot steaming days when you need to keep your horse’s coat in top condition and keep the horse cool.

I bought two of these for my Arabian gelding. He’s not hard on his clothing, so I have no worries about him tearing them. They might not last so long if you run playful horses together, and they grab at one another’s rugs.
The fit is good, although perhaps could have been slightly more generous around the throat, in the neck section.
I stitched in velcro to hold Elmo’s tail bags. Overall, these are nice combos, and very handy.

This has to be my favourite rug for summer. I have just purchased more and done away with my cottons and hybrids. One of my thoroughbreds sweats in cottons so this is perfect to keep him protected from insects, the sun and if it rains no racing to take a wet cotton off. This keeps all my horses cool and the added satin shoulders and neck are perfect to stop rubbing.
Horses can happpily romp in the dam and not be left standing in wet rugs and it keeps from sun bleaching my black coats.
